Solitary Confinement Day of Action
Watch the Solitary Confinement Day of Action that took place in Madison, WI in April of 2024. Numerous organizations, individuals, and representatives came together to make this happen including WISDOM and JOSHUA members. This is a panel of individuals sharing their experiences surviving the torturous practices of isolation or knowing someone who did. This is still being forced on many incarcerated Wisconsinites and across the nation.
Roundtable to Close GBCI
A Roundtable Discussion on Closing GBCI took place the same day as the Solitary Confinement Day of Action in April of 2024. We have a responsibility to speak out against the inhumane treatment happening in our prison system, and we care about our fellow people incarcerated. This is important work, and we will keep showing up! Thank you to those who made this happen and showed up in support, especially our very own Co-President of the JOSHUA Board of Directors who spoke on the closing of GBCI.
